Star Wars: The Clone Wars
I’m not sure how many people out there are aware that the Star Wars phenomenon did not die with Anakin Skywalker turning to the dark side and into Darth Vader in the last Star Wars movie that came out May 19th, 2005 Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. August 15, 2008 a new era of Star Wars begins as the creator George Lucas brings and all new feature film to the big screen as an introduction to the new animated series that will be shown on Cartoon Network and then TNT. The animated tv shows are going to be 30-minute shows that will be movie-like in feel and production.
“I felt there were a lot more Star Wars stories left to tell,” said George Lucas, executive producer of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. “I was eager to start telling some of them through animation and, at the same time, push the art of animation forward.”
So if you are a nerd and you like Star Wars, this should be considered good news. Looking back on it, I kind of wish that Lucas never would have come out with the three new movies starting in 1999 with Star Wars: A Phantom Menace, because the original three Star Wars movies were so great that it was too hard to live up to them.
Here is a link you can follow to check out more about the new Star Wars saga.
I think I will continue to add links as new things come up.
Star Wars: Episode I- The Phantom Menace (1999)
Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones (2002)
Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Star Wars: Episode VI- The Return of the Jedi (1983)

So where does this story fit in? After the 3rd episode of the new movies or the old ones?? Are the old one episodes 4-6? If this new one is after the 3rd episode then are the old ones really 5-7?
DARN IT STAR WARS?!!? Is it that freakin hard to tell a story from beginning to end?? This forces all it fans to sound like a bunch of wacko’s. It’s so complicated you have to move back into your parents basement, put on your Storm Trooper costume and develop a nerdy voice while contemplating how the movies match the story line.
Well in episode 4 which is really 5 since they left out 2 chapters where R2-D2 turns from silver to gold because of the titanium shortage
I also can believe boverman hasn’t ranted about this nonsense!
Alright…good point. This is taking place after Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones, which is the second newest Star Wars movie.
I will re-adjust my last blog entry
I can’t even wrap my mind around this topic well enough to rant on it. All I know is that I have no idea about it.
The movie was not so good. It should have been three episodes instead. The series is better.
Here is my take on the whole first season (with pics) if you are interested:
