First off, I’d like to thank Cartman for allowing me to post a review on his blog and especially allowing me to do a review of Entourage. Now, on to the review…
Whatever you have to do to see season 1 and season 2 of the HBO series Entourage, do it! If you have to buy it, borrow it, rent it, pirate it, bump up your cable bill or invite an “ex” over because they have it in their collection, it will be worth it. This series is the best thing on television right now … maybe EVER! There is never a dull moment and the writing is incredible.
The show centers on 4 guys who grew up poor in NYC and one of them caught a big break in show business. The 4 now live in LA and roam around Hollywood living the high life. It gives you a behind the scene look at show business and how a rising star’s entourage live. While the 4 characters certainly create synergy, removing any one of them would completely ruin the show.
Vinny (Adrian Grenier) is the rising star, gets all the chicks (Yeah baby!) and takes very good care of his entourage.
Eric (Kevin Connolly) is Vinny’s loyal right hand man, his best friend and his manager. He is the only voice of reason in the entourage.
Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) is Vinny’s older, washed up brother who is trapped in the early 90’s and is the chef of the house.
Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) is the hip one in the group. He loves living the lifestyle. He is all play and no work.
The best indicator for me is this is a show you can certainly sit down and enjoy with your SO. It earns every stitch in the 5 baseballs.

It may be a miracle, but this really is a show that Dave and I both enjoy watching. It helps that Adrian Grenier is easy on the eyes, but it is a great series! Recommended by me too.
I just Netflixed (kind of like googled, but different) Season One and I am ready to dive in. The discs should be with me shortly, and after the Entourage pep talk at Pauls, I’m excited!
Welcome aboard! Can’t wait to hear your review boverman. Sit back and enjoy! VICTORY!!
Lisa and I just plowed through the first four episodes of season 1 and we can’t wait for the second disc to arrive. I’m loving the show and the characters are hilarious. The best part of the show is knowing that as crazy as the story lines are, you absolutely KNOW that there are people actually living the same type of life in Hollywood right now.
Yep. It also makes you think about KG and his Entourage. As his buddy your job is to hang out and make sure KG is having a good time.
Seasons One and Two are now in the books, along with the first four episodes of Season Three. I’m hooked. What a life these people lead. No worries at all!
I’ll repeat what people told me as I was watching, “It only gets better”.
