The Man of Steel is back with a bang. Superhero movies are my bread and butter, mostly because even at my age, I still wish I was a superhero. Yeah, yeah go ahead and make fun of me, but who wouldn’t want to save people for a living with supernatural powers? When compared to the original Superman movie, this one was a bit of a letdown because of the actors who played Superman and Lois Lane Brandon Routh is the Man of Steel and Kate Bosworth plays Lois Lane. Sometimes it’s just hard to step into the shoes of the previous actor or actress who played the same role. Kevin Spacey did a good work on his portrayal of Lex Luthor, but Kevin Spacey always does a convincing job. So how long was he gone and where the was he? He was gone five years and he was in search of some remains from his home planet of Krypton. The opening credits are true to classic film’s and it was pretty cool to see it on the big screen. There is non-stop action and although the story line isn’t convincing, I still got to enjoy the fact that it wasn’t predictable. It was a good movie, but not a great one, but I still think that it’s worth a trip to see it at the theatre, though.
